Recent work

Prudential Financial · 2021–2026

Actuarial Agile Practice

Task: Guide 20+ Actuarial and Technology agile teams through the end-to-end product lifecycle and onboard them to Prudential's Scaled Agile Framework.

Solution: Facilitated product workshops — Vision, Story Mapping, Prioritization, OKRs — to define MVPs and help Product Owners build roadmaps. As acting Release Train Engineer, ran Program Increment Planning to align teams and manage dependencies, and supported migration of annuity models from costly vendor platforms and on-prem HPC to homegrown Python models on AWS Parallel Computing Service.

Outcomes
  • Onboarded 20+ teams to a customized SAFe implementation, synchronized to the enterprise cadence
  • Built an online Agile Assessment stitching together MS Forms, Power Automate, PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Developed a real-time PowerBI dashboard reporting agile team progress and artifacts
  • Redesigned the Actuarial SharePoint portal for novice and experienced audiences
Prudential Financial · 2017–2018

Prudential Link

Task: Take Prudential's homegrown robo-advisor from zero to one — a goal planning and execution platform for prospects and investors.

Solution: Built the MVP digital experience to bring prospects in, learn about them, and have them create an account for customized solutions to their financial goals. As the product scaled, focus narrowed to the Prudential Investment Management Account experience — viewing performance, documents and taking action on investments — with Plaid for account funding and verification plus an ACH funding option.

Prudential.com & PGIM.com

Task: Migrate Prudential.com from Drupal to IBM WCM and unify a fractured customer experience owned separately by five business units.

Solution: Created a single, uniform experience and pulled in the underlying data from the previous business-unit sites — significantly improving the user experience, reducing duplicated information and driving down operational costs, with a move from on-prem to AWS. In January 2016, launched PGIM.com as part of the rebranding of Prudential's investment management business.
